(October 2010) --- Entering the Fall season, premier furniture company Marge Carson introduces two transitional collections with a subtle Far East influence and a more stylish contemporary slant that meets a growing demand for casual, lightly-scaled and fashion-forward home furnishings. In addition to this, Marge Carson expands its already exceptional assortment of fabrics, leathers and trims with the latest textures, colors and construction from around the globe with a new Leather and upholstered frame program that will make the selection and decision process as easy as one, two, three.

Overall, Marge Carson officials said they are excited about the Fall market. Purchasing patterns from the past year continue to point positively for Marge Carson's selections of finely crafted wood and upholstery. Retailers and designers across the country report steady sales of Marge Carson furniture.

"We have seen positive business this year," said Jim LaBarge, Marge Carson's owner and CEO. "Our customer service team tells me that customer requests for stock availability, delivery information and products to be customized have increased substantially over the last several months. Things are clearly headed in the right direction."

The ability to create uniquely individualized fine furniture is a decades-old cornerstone of Marge Carson's established niche in an otherwise crowded field. Consumers custom order not just personalized wood finish and upholstery fabrics, but some items by the inch.

"People don't realize the breadth of customization we can do," LaBarge said. "Our emphasis on quality and our ability to accommodate a consumer's vision makes Marge Carson a much easier sale for interior designers and retailers (because) we're dealing with a custom-made product that can be individualized to meet specific needs or looks."

A focus on enhancing the buying experience for consumers prompted LaBarge and his team to introduce a new leather program that marries select leathers with specified frames. The result is a merchandised package enabling designers and retailers to easily present and sell Marge Carson leather seating with distinct style and comfort options.

Laurel Canyon offers five extraordinary leather with fabric accent correlations that can be applied on any of three newly designed upholstery frames. A contemporary armless fully tufted sofa called "Larissa", a more traditional highly contoured and banded sofa called "Analisa" and a versatile Tuxedo styled multi pillowed sectional called "Maya".

But Tango spices things up with Rosewood veneers, bold accents and inlays with a touch of Biedermeier in an eclectic selection of bedroom, dining room and occasional furniture. Rich in texture and distressing the accented metal work fulfills this transitional atmosphere.
