HIGH POINT, NC - Visitors to the Marge Carson High Point showroom will see big changes when the October 2013 Furniture Market gets underway. Long known as an industry-leading designer and manufacturer of high-end home furnishings, Marge Carson will be at home in recently renovated quarters befitting their status. Updated architecture, as well as a new roof and air-conditioning system, will give the 50,000-square-foot building-known as Hamilton Place a fresh perspective.
"We were thrilled to be able to buy the building in 2011," says Marge Carson CEO Jim LaBarge, "but what was originally two buildings with an alley between them had been cobbled together; it wasn't an integrated approach. We wanted to tie together architecturally what had been there for more than 20 years, not only for us but for our tenants, too."
